Gail Simone est une écrivaine américaine de comic books surtout connue pour Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman et Secret Six (DC Comics). Militante des forts personnages de superhéroïnes, son écriture a reçu les éloges des fans et des critiques. Outre son travail dans le milieu des comic books, elle a écrit des épisodes de Justice League Unlimited and Batman: Brave and the Bold ainsi que le scénario du film d’animation Wonder Woman (2009) mettant en vedette la princesse amazonienne. Cette année, dans le cadre du lancement très attendu du nouvel univers de DC, elle fait équipe avec son bon ami et artiste vedette Ethan Van Sciver pour la sortie de The Fury of Firestorm.

Gail Simone is an American comic book writer best known for her DC Comics runs on Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman and Secret Six. An advocate for strong female superhero characters, Gail's writing has garnered acclaim from both fans and critics alike. In addition to her comic book work, Gail has penned episodes of Justice League Unlimited and Batman: Brave and the Bold as well as the 2009 animated feature Wonder Woman starring the Amazonian princess. 2011 sees Gail teaming up with good friend and fellow DC superstar Ethan Van Sciver for the release of The Fury of Firestorm as part of the highly anticipated 2011 DC Universe reboot.
